Punta Cana.- More than 190 professionals from various fields of civil aviation from five continents have confirmed their participation in the conferences Air Traffic Management (ATM) to be held next week in Punta Cana (east).
The seventh annual CANSO Latin America and Caribbean Conference will take place in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, 18 – 20 October. The conference theme is “Preparing for a new age of air navigation services provision” and participants will address key issues including: sharing information to improve safety performance; how to incorporate remotely piloted aircraft systems into the region’s airspace; A-CDM; and sharing best practice on preventing cyber attacks.
The Air Navigation Services Providers Organization (CANSO) coordinates the conference, with the Dominican Civil Aviation Institute (IDAC) as host.
The event which starts Sunday evening in Punta Cana´s Hotel Melia Caribe Tropical will focus on “preparing for a new era of providing air navigation services.”
